Ola the Seagull in Barcelona

Our brave and inquisitive Ola the Seagull has visited all the most interesting places in Barcelona. She got inspired by Picasso, Gaudi and Miro. She fell in love with its sunny and warm weather, with tall palms and tasty tapas. She tasted little anchovy and patatas bravas. Since Ola is a Dutch seagull, potatoes and fish are always on her mind. And Ola enjoyed her holiday in Barcelona greatly!

Ola the Seagull usually travels light, with a backpack in which she carries only the most important items. But there are always pencils in it. After all, travelling with them is more interesting!

Our Story
This is the second book from the series 'Travel with Pencils!' created by two artists, Alina and Katya. And this one is about Barcelona - our favourite destination! In this book we tell stories about this beautiful city, its vibrant Catalan culture and language.

With our book you will get to know its artists and museums, tasty food and city festivals. Our illustrations are done in black ink so that they can be coloured in with your favourite drawing tools.

What Colour is Barcelona? It depends on how you're feeling and the pencils you have. You can travel to different cities by plane, by boat or by car. Or you can use your imagination and the stories in our book. We believe that travelling with pencils is always fun!
